Coming to the App Store

Asking three times does not work.

Belg turns chores and practice into missions. Your children earn beans for them and spend those beans on what you put in the shop.

The first month is free.

Belg is coming to the App Store soon. Want us to tell you?

A contract both sides keep.

Extra housework becomes missions, missions become beans, and beans become things your children look forward to. And you deliver just as much as they do.

  1. Extra work becomes a mission

Anything beyond ordinary life together goes in as a mission: clearing the cellar, washing the car, walking the dog when it was someone else's turn. You say how many beans the mission is worth. When it gets done is up to the child, and that is exactly what makes it different from nagging.

  2. A photo ends the argument

Once the mission is done, the child photographs the result. The picture lands on your phone. One tap, and the beans move to their account. If the cellar is only half cleared, you send the proof back. That saves the checking and the argument about whether it counts as finished.

  3. In the shop beans become freedom

You fill the shop. It holds no toys, but the things a child actually saves up for: time together, longer evenings, more screen time. The child sees what costs what, saves towards it and buys it once they have enough.

  • A trip to the swimming pool
  • 30 minutes more screen time
  • An hour later to bed
  • Going out for ice cream
  • Unlocking a game in the app
  • Friday the child picks dinner

The crucial part: you deliver too.

This is where the whole system stands or falls. The child does something they would not have done otherwise. In return it is your turn when they cash in: if the swimming pool is in the shop and your child has earned it, then you go to the swimming pool. Not some time, not when it happens to suit. Beans are worth exactly as much as you honour them, and children notice faster than any accountant when a currency stops being worth anything.

Behind it sits a real ledger, not a score. Every entry stays traceable, and the balance cannot quietly drift.

What it looks like

Twelve pictures instead of twelve paragraphs.

An invented household — Mia, Jonas, Sarah and Daniel. The numbers and rewards are examples; you fill the shop yourselves.

  • Home

    Home

Balance, quick buttons, tiles, dates and weather. Every child arranges their own home screen.

  • Call for help

    Call for help

One button, and your parents know where you are. The map shows who is already on the way.

  • School

    School

The next school day from WebUntis: when it ends, what is cancelled, what to pack.

  • Vocabulary

    Vocabulary

Round after round, with sound. What will not stick gets a memory hook, with a picture if you like.

  • Shopping

    Shopping

One list for everyone, sorted the way the shop is. Every entry gets its own drawing.

  • Rain radar

    Rain radar

Clouds, rain and wind above your own town. It answers the coat question before the door.

  • Missions

    Missions

What is up for grabs and what already belongs to someone. One glance: value, deadline, approval.

  • Shop

    Shop

What there is and what it costs. What is bought sits in the vault until it is redeemed.

  • Games

    Games

Practise first, then play. What may be played is your call.

  • To do

    To do

The household's list. Every line carries a face, or it belongs to everyone.

  • BelgAI

    BelgAI

The questions nobody else answers. Parents can read along in every conversation.

  • Mental maths

    Mental maths

Sums until the monster is full. Every right answer is one bite.

Beans are not a means of pressure.

A currency in a child's room can easily backfire. So we gave ourselves four rules, and we play by them too.

The four rules
  1. There is no punishment

Beans are not taken away again. If something does not get done, nothing is earned. A currency you can lose again teaches caution, not independence.

  2. Only for what goes on top

Clearing your own plate is part of living together and is not paid for. Beans are for the extra work, for what would otherwise stay with you.

  3. Getting over something counts too

Ordering at the bakery alone, going down to the cellar in the dark, the talk in front of the class. If you know what your child avoids, that is exactly the mission worth the most.

  4. What is bought is freedom

The shop holds permissions, not things: staying up later, unlocking a game, walking to a friend alone. You decide what is in it and what it costs.

The app does not force this on you. Amounts can be corrected by hand at any time, in both directions. We simply stick to it, and the missions are built that way.

Two plans, one of them free.

Belg Basic stays free for good. Belg Plus unlocks what costs money: the AI, the learning modules, the school connection and the buttons that make you reachable.

Data

What Belg stores about your children.

In plain words, without paragraphs of law. The full version is in the privacy policy.

This sits in your household

  • The name you call them by and their role in the household. Children need no email address and cannot sign up on their own.
  • Missions, the bean balance and purchases in the shop, every entry on its own.
  • The photos of the proofs. Only the adults in your household see them.
  • Progress in vocabulary, reading and arithmetic. School and BelgAI only if you set them up.

This does not exist here

  • No advertising, no ad identifier, no selling of your data. We earn from the subscription.
  • No look in from other households. Every row belongs to your household, and the database enforces that, not just the app.
  • No payment details with us. The App Store handles the subscription.

Servers and database are in Germany. Delete your household and the content is gone.
